A beautiful stained glass Poppy Heart - a Ruby red glass poppy
Each piece of glass is individually cut by hand, shaped, wrapped in copper foil, then soldered together. The poppy is cleaned and has a dark patina added before a final wax polish.
The poppy has two different and very vibrant ruby reds and an opaque black centre.
The glass is chosen for it’s texture as much as for the beautiful colour. This is NOT painted.
The combination of glass might vary slightly to photos due to availability, but will always be just as beautiful!
It is approx. 10cm x 10cm and weighs approximately 70gms.
The Poppy Heart has a black organza ribbon to hang which can be adjusted to the right length.
Looks especially beautiful in front of a sunny window.
