A beautiful stained glass Poppy Heart - a Ruby red poppy set within a leaf green textured heart ❤️
Each piece of glass is individually cut by hand, shaped, wrapped in copper foil, then soldered together. The poppy is cleaned and has a dark patina added before a final wax polish.
The glass includes some beautiful textured green coloured glass, and two different, vibrant, reds. The glass is chosen for it’s texture as much as for the beautiful colour. This is NOT painted.
It is approx. 12 cm x 12 cm and weighs approximately 100gms.
The Poppy Heart has a black velvet ribbon to hang which can be adjusted to the right length.
Looks especially beautiful in front of a sunny window.
