There are at least TWELVE different types of glass - including iridescent, Florentine and wispy, some from from my ‘stash’ collected over many years. Each piece of glass is individually cut by hand, shaped, wrapped in copper foil, then soldered together.
The honeycomb panel is then cleaned before a final wax polish.
It is chosen for its texture as much as for the beautiful colours.
This is NOT painted. This is a truly unique piece in some of my favourite springtime colours.
It is approx. 15.5 x 21.5 cm and weighs approximately 325 gms.
