Set of three gorgeous handcrafted turquoise & cobalt blue real stained glass butterflies 🦋 🦋🦋
Each piece of glass is individually cut by hand, shaped, wrapped in copper foil, then soldered together. A dark patina is added before a final polish.
The glass includes some beautiful unusual textured and iridescent glass all from my ‘stash’ collected over many years. It is chosen for it’s reflective quality as much as for the beautiful colour. The butterflies are reinforced with copper strip and each have a copper wire antenna.
Each of the three butterflies are approximately 8 cm x 9 cm and weigh 50 gms.
Each butterfly hangs from an adjustable black organza ribbon.
They look especially beautiful in front of a sunny window.
