A gorgeous little Stained Glass Busy Bee Sun Catcher in shades of amber, black and clear iridescent glass ….🐝🐝🐝
Each piece of glass is individually cut by hand, shaped, wrapped in copper foil, then soldered together. The Bee has additional wire soldered to give the appearance of antennae. The Busy Bee is cleaned and has a dark patina added before a final wax polish.
The glass includes some beautiful textured amber glass, black opaque glass and gorgeous rippled clear iridescent glass - all from my ‘stash’ collected over many years. It is chosen for it’s sparkle as much as for the beautiful colour. This is NOT painted.
It is approx. 13 cm x 9 cm (5.25” x 3.75”) and weighs approximately 60gm.
🐝The Bee has an organza ribbon to hang which can be adjusted to the right length.
Looks especially beautiful in front of a sunny window.
