The most gorgeous handcrafted purple stained glass butterfly 🦋
There are 3 different types of glass used in this butterfly - two gorgeous textured purples and a stunning wispy purple glass.
Each piece of glass is individually cut by hand, shaped, wrapped in copper foil, then soldered together. The butterfly has additional wire soldered in place to give it extra strength. The butterfly is thoroughly cleaned before a final wax. It is chosen for it’s reflective quality as much as for the beautiful colour.
It is approx. 16 x17cm (6.5 x 6.5”) and weighs approximately 170 gm.
The butterfly has an adjustable purple satin ribbon to hang.
Looks especially beautiful in front on a sunny window.
