Stunning, unique handcrafted, textured pastel coloured Stained Glass Butterfly 🦋
No two butterflies will ever be identical!
Each piece of glass is individually cut by hand, shaped, wrapped in copper foil, then soldered together. The butterfly is strengthened by the addition of wire soldered discreetly on the back. The butterfly is thoroughly cleaned before a final wax polish.
The glass includes some beautiful & unusual textured (Florentine & Moorish) and ‘wispy’ glass - all from my ‘stash’ collected over many years. It is chosen for its reflective quality as much as for the beautiful colour - shown in the photo of the beautiful refraction.
It is approx. 15 x 15cm (6 x 6”) and weighs approximately 150 gm.
Please note that these are unique and handmade and sometimes the glass selection might be slightly different due to availability.
The butterfly hangs from a pretty pastel rainbow coloured satin ribbon which can be adjusted to the right length.
Looks especially beautiful in front on a sunny window.
