A beautiful little Honeycomb Suncatcher in shades of blues & turquoise. Includes a gorgeous little brass coloured Honey Bee .. 🐝
Each piece of glass is individually cut by hand, shaped, wrapped in copper foil, then soldered together. The honeycomb is cleaned and has a dark patina added before a final wax polish.
The glass includes some beautiful textured blue glass, cobalt Florentine glass and a gorgeous wispy glass - all from my ‘stash’ collected over many years. It is chosen for it’s texture as much as for the beautiful colour. This is NOT painted.
It is approx. 13 cm x 9 cm and weighs approximately 70 gms.
🐝The Honeycomb hangs from an organza ribbon can be adjusted to the right length.
Looks especially beautiful in front of a sunny window.
