The clear background glass has an effective frost finish and the colourful border just enhances the playful, quirky Blue Bird! \n\nI’m lucky enough to observe all manner of wild birds in my garden daily and this inspired my design. \nI first sketch out my idea then refine and draw to scale. My drawing is then used as a template. The glass panel\/sun catcher is made using the ‘Tiffany’ technique. Each piece of glass is individually cut by hand, shaped and edged with copper foil. All pieces of glass are then soldered together before adding a dark patina and a final wax polish.\n\nThe glass panel is then enclosed within a custom made wooden frame. The frame protects the glass and ensures that it is ready to display straight from the box.\n\nFrom start to finish, the glass panel is made with love and care. \n\nThis would make a perfect gift for any bird lover in your life - or just treat yourself!
